Internship opportunity: European Marketing Assistant - Italy

 
We are a UK based sports equipment company selling products across Europe. We are currently based in Shrewsbury in England, but we will move our offices to Germany, in February 2011. The office language will remain as English.
 
Job description:

Working in a small company, understanding how an export business works. Due to it being a small company, the intern will be given lots of responsibilities and will have the opportunity to prove themselves for a long-term job with the firm, as we only recruit employees who have previously been interns with us. The internship is unpaid, however we pay for your transport to get here and back home afterwards and provide bikes to get to work.  

Tasks will involve:

-Managing the Italian arm of the business
-Marketing
-Building contacts with sports clubs
-Negotiating contracts
-Website development
-Italian customer relations
 
Requirements
 
The intern will be having contact with Italian clients so Italian is essential, but only beginners English is necessary as we can help them improve and at Netsportique it’s an ideal environment to learn English.
 
Students from all fields of study are invited to apply, it will be an ideal opportunity to gain invaluable experience in the business world. A keen interest in sports would be preferred, but is not essential. Another foreign language is also advantageous.
