Our Display, Email, and Affiliate Marketing team (aka Display Performance Marketing) is offering a paid internship position to support our advertising efforts in Italy. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience and insights into our successful global strategy. If you’re looking for an opportunity to apply your analytical skills, your passion to learn, and your drive to create a lasting effect in the online travel industry, then this is your chance to do all that while having lots of fun! We promise that you won’t be making copies and fetching coffee during this internship (unless the coffee is for yourself, or you prefer fetching our weekly beer). If you still like it here and have shown some initiative, there is the opportunity to stay beyond the 6-month duration of this internship.
Your tasks:

• Research, understand, implement, and adapt trivago's display, email and affiliate advertising strategy in Italy.
• Find and approach websites to establish new advertising partnerships.
• Optimise and test landing pages, ad copy, campaign audience targeting, and creatives (images).
• Setup new display, email, and affiliate marketing campaigns.
• Monitor and analyse advertising performance of trivago’s online advertising accounts on a daily basis.

 
Your profile:

• You are a current student or recent graduate looking for a paid internship in Düsseldorf, Germany.
• You speak Italian at native level and are fluent in English (our company language).
• Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills make it easy for you to analyse data and recognise trends. Excel is your best friend.
• You grasp new concepts easily and can adapt your thinking to new information.
• You become excited about your tasks - For you work is more than just a job.
• You are focused, determined and result driven - and are willing to push yourself in order to reach your objective.
• You are skilled in approaching issues with creativity and innovation and enjoy thinking beyond traditional frameworks.
